Cheats' mince pies

Having a Christmas party but don't want to splash out on lots of shop-bought mince pies? These are cheap and incredibly easy to make!

What you need:

  • 12 Jus-Rol Frozen Party Pastry Cases
  • Beaten egg white and caster sugar to glaze
  • 12 tsp. mincemeat
  • 6 tsp. cranberry sauce

What you do:

  1. Use Jus-Rol party sized pastry cases to give another really quick to make mince pie.
  2. Preheat oven to 220°C (200°C for fan assisted ovens) 425°F/Gas Mark 7
  3. Bake off cases as instructed in pack, brushing with beaten egg white. Two minutes before they are ready, remove from oven, brush again and sprinkle with caster sugar, return to oven to set.
  4. Fill with mincemeat and cranberry sauce and pop back into oven to heat through.
