Waldorf style wheat & white pittas

This timeless recipe is perfect for an on-the-go lunch.

Serves: 2

What you need:

2 Mission Wheat and White pitta breads
1 red apple, finely sliced
1tsp lemon juice
2 sticks of celery, chopped
2 carrots, grated
Handful sultanas
1 baby gem lettuce
Handful walnut pieces
2tbsp low fat salad dressing of your choice

What you do:

Sprinkle the pitta breads with a little water, warm through and slice open.
Mix the lemon juice with the apple to prevent discolouration then fill the pitta breads with the ingredients and top with the dressing.
