Cranberry spiced porridge

Cranberry spiced porridge

If you think your porridge recipe's getting a bit samey, this delicious cranberry spiced version will liven it up!

  • Preparation: 2 mins
  • Cooking: 5 mins
  • Serves: 2

What you need:

  • 100g rolled oats
  • 50g dried cranberries
  • 1/2 tsp mixed spice
  • 2 tbsp cranberry sauce
  • 700ml semi skimmed milk

What you do:

  1. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
  2. Serve with a tsp of cranberry sauce and a sprinkling of mixed spice.

Cook's tip:

Use frozen whole cranberries with 2 tbsp sugar instead of the dried cranberries and cranberry sauce.
