Pea & pancetta pasta

Creamy, delicious and filling - an easy and satisfying meal for the family

Serves: 4

What you need:

  • Seeds of Change Organic Tagliatelle
  • 8 rashers of pancetta, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 250g garden peas, fresh or frozen
  • 250ml double cream
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

What you do:

  1. Put water on to boil and cook the tagliatelle according to the pack instructions.
  2. Whilst the pasta is cooking, fry the pancetta in the olive oil, add the chopped onion and crushed garlic and cook gently.
  3. When the pancetta is starting to look crispy, add the peas, cream and parmesan, perhaps adding a little water if the sauce is too thick.
  4. Once the tagliatelle is cooked, drain the water and add the pasta to the pancetta mix.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
