Amaretto baked plums
A tasty dessert recipe, ideal for dinner parties and perfect for an alternative Christmas pud!

What you need:
- 8 plums
- 70g/2.37oz marzipan
- 10g/0.34oz butter
- 2 dessert spoons soft brown sugar
- 60g/2.02oz amaretto biscuits
- 300g/10.14oz Alpro soya plain yogurt alternative
- Splash of Amaretto optional
What you do:
- Preheat the oven to 200ºC/392ºF/Gas Mark 6
- Cut the plums in half, remove the stones and discard and place into an ovenproof dish.
- Roll a marble sized piece of marzipan and push into the whole left by the stones.
- Crush the amaretto biscuit using the end of a rolling pin.
- Mix half the amaretto biscuits into the yogurt
- Spoon the yogurt mixture over onto the plums.
- Dot with the butter, sprinkle the brown sugar and splash with amaretto if desired.
- Bake for 30 minutes until the plums are soft and juicy and slightly browned on top.
