Herby BBQ Shallots

Herby BBQ Shallots

Herby shallots, by chef Paul Collins, perfect baked in foil on the BBQ

  • Preparation: 10 mins
  • Cooking: 30 mins
  • Serves: 4

What you need:

  • 20 medium sized shallots
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 20g thyme
  • 100ml olive oil

What you do:

  1. Peel the shallots. Take a piece of tin foil A3 in size and fold in half.
  2. Place the shallots, garlic and thyme on the foil and season with salt and pepper. Pour over the olive oil and close up all the sides of the foil.
  3. Cook for 25-30 minutes on the edge of the BBQ grill turning once after 10-15 minutes.
