Mushroom & salami pizzas
Fancy a film in front of the telly with a pizza topped with spicy salami, mouth-watering mozzarella and tomato bursting with flavour? It'll take you 25 minutes to make it...
Prep: 10mins
Cook: 10-15mins
Serves: 4
What you need:
- 1 ciabatta loaf
- 120ml/8 tbsp ready made tomato and herb sauce for pasta
- 225g/8oz mozzarella cheese, diced
- 175g/6oz chestnut mushrooms, sliced
- 50g/2oz salami slices, torn in half
- 4 pinches dried sage
- a little olive oil for drizzling
- salt and ground black pepper
What to do:
- Preheat the oven to 220C/Fan 200C/Gas Mark 7. Cut the ciabatta in half horizontally, then cut each half vertically to make four pieces. Place them cut side up on a baking tray.
- Divide the sauce between the bread, spreading it to the edges. Scatter the cheese, mushrooms and salami evenly over the bread. Drizzle over a little olive oil, scatter over the sage and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 10-15mins or until the cheese is melted and mushrooms golden.
