Pick-me-up winter sundae

Treat Dad to a delicious sundae surprise this Christmas with this easy recipe

Prep time: cooks for about 30 mins
Makes: 2 sundaes

What you need:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 30ml (2tbsp) soft brown sugar
  • 30ml (2tbsp) brandy
  • Large pinch of cinnamon
  • Anchor Extra Thick with Brandy Real Dairy Cream

What you do:

  1. Make a slit lengthways through the skin and along each banana.
  2. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together.
  3. Place each banana on a piece of foil, and scrunch around the banana.
  4. Slightly open the skins and sprinkle a spoonful of the sugar mixture along the slit.
  5. Pour a spoonful of brandy onto each banana and loosely cover the banana with foil.
  6. Cook in a preheated oven gas 4/5 180 C 350 F for about 30 mins until the banana is soft.
  7. Remove the bananas from the oven and place in a sundae dish. Pour over the juices, allow to cool slightly and then squirt a large helping of Anchor Extra Thick with Brandy Real Dairy Cream, and enjoy!
