BBQ Prawns

Try these fantastic prawns on the BBQ this summer - they're gently spiced with a korma paste and make a real change from plain prawn skewers

What you need:

  • 32 extra large prawns with tail, cleaned and de-veined (800g approx.)
  • 2 tbsp Patak's Korma Curry Paste
  • 1 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 bag mixed salad leaves
  • 1 - 2 red onions, sliced
  • 8 radishes, sliced
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • fresh coriander for garnish (optional)

What you do:

  • Place the prawns in a bowl. Add the Patak's Korma Curry Paste and yogurt. Mix well and leave to stand.
  • After 20 minutes, skewer the prawns and cook on the BBQ or grill.
  • Cook for about 5 - 10 minutes until the prawns are cooked and the tails begin to char.
  • For each serving place some mixed salad leaves on a plate, cover with the sliced onion and radishes.
  • Finally place the prawns on top (8 per serving) and garnish with fresh coriander.
