Sweetcorn pancakes

Make a simple pancake batter, add canned sweetcorn then fry in a pan with oil. These yummy pancakes are fantastic served with a roast dinner and Bisto Chicken Gravy

• Serves: 4

What you need:

• 100g plain flour
• 2 eggs
• 300ml milk
• 1 small can sweetcorn
• Bisto Chicken Gravy, made up as directed on the pack
• oil
• non-stick frying pan

What you do:

1. Place 100g of plain flour in a bowl then make a well in the centre then add 2 eggs.
2. Gradually add the milk and whisk until the batter is smooth.
3. Stir in the sweetcorn and mix well.
4. Heat the lightly oiled pan and then pour the batter into the pan to produce a thick pancake then cook for 1-2 minutes until golden. Flip the pancake over and cook on the other side for for a further 2 minutes.
5. Keep the pancake warm in the oven until all of the batter had been used.
6. Serve with roast chicken seasonal vegetables and Bisto Chicken Gravy.

Cook's tip:

Can also be eaten cold as a packed lunch idea.

Try making individual portions by adding a few spoonfuls of batter to the pan at a time.
